Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the sale of services through buzztranslator.com, in accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (the Spanish Consumer Protection Act, "RDL 1/2007") and applicable Spanish and EU distance-selling law.
01. Who we are

02. Scope
These terms apply to every order placed through buzztranslator.com for translation, sworn translation, apostille & legalization assistance, interpretation, localization, subtitling, transcription, and proofreading & editing services, as listed and priced on this site.
03. Prices
All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include Spanish IVA at 21%, unless stated otherwise. Prices are those published on the site at the time you place your order. Apostille official fees, where applicable, are charged separately, at cost, in addition to our service fee.
04. Placing an order
You place an order by adding one or more priced items to your cart and completing checkout. On completion, you receive an order reference and an order summary. A contract is formed between you and buzztranslator once your order is confirmed.
05. Payment
At present, checkout runs as a demonstration: you receive a real order reference and full order summary, but no payment is taken online and no card details are transmitted or stored. We will contact you using the details you provide to confirm and arrange payment before work begins, or you can call us directly at +34 913 13 10 20 to arrange payment.
06. Document submission
This website does not accept file uploads. After checkout, your order confirmation provides a pre-addressed email for sending your documents, referencing your order reference, and our phone and office address for anyone who prefers to send documents in person.
07. Delivery
Digital delivery (a signed PDF by email) is included on every order at no extra cost. Physical delivery of a sealed original, where applicable, is available at checkout for the prices and estimated timeframes listed on that step; delivery times run from the completion of your translation, not from the date you placed your order.
08. Your right to withdraw (14-day cooling-off period)
As a consumer, you generally have 14 calendar days from the date of your order to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason, under RDL 1/2007. Because our services are performed, in whole or in part, before that period ends whenever you ask us to start promptly, a separate, explicit checkbox at checkout asks you to confirm you want us to begin immediately and that you understand you lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed (Article 103(a) RDL 1/2007) — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy at /legal/refunds/ for the full terms.
09. Your obligations
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and legible source documents and information, and for responding promptly to any question we raise — delays in your response may affect your delivery date and are excluded from our turnaround guarantee.
10. Intellectual property in your translation
Once paid in full, you own the translated document we deliver to you. We retain no rights to use it beyond keeping a copy for our own records and the correction-guarantee period described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
Our liability for a given order is limited to the price paid for that order, except where liability cannot be limited under Spanish law (for example, in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury).
12. Complaints
If something isn’t right, contact us first at support@buzztranslator.com or +34 913 13 10 20 — most issues are resolved directly and quickly. If we can’t resolve it between us, Spanish consumers may refer the matter to the Junta Arbitral de Consumo de la Comunidad de Madrid for out-of-court resolution.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute not resolved as above may be brought before the competent Spanish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence within the EU.
