Proofreading & Editing

A second, expert pair of eyes before anything goes out the door.

from €15.00 / page

You already have a translation — maybe done in-house, maybe by another agency, maybe by an AI tool with a first pass through it — and you need someone qualified to catch what you can't see before it becomes public or binding. Proofreading & Editing is that second pair of eyes: a full check against your source where you have one, tracked corrections, and a clean final copy, at roughly half the price of a fresh translation. It's the natural last step after any of our other seven services — or after a translation from anywhere else.

What's included

  • A full read against your source text (or a monolingual edit if no source is available)
  • Tracked corrections plus a clean final copy
  • Your choice of proofreading (accuracy) or editing (flow and tone), or both
  • A signed digital copy (PDF) delivered by email
  • 14-day correction guarantee

How pricing works

Priced per 250-word page, at roughly half our translation rate — the safety net after any of our other seven services, or after a translation from anywhere else.

Use cases

Thesis submission

A student’s translated thesis chapter needs a professional check before submission — catching errors a supervisor or examiner would flag.

CV and cover letter

A job applicant has translated their own CV and wants a native check before sending it, so nothing reads as slightly off.

AI-assisted draft

A team used a translation tool for a first pass and needs a qualified human to catch what the tool missed before the text goes out.

Pre-publication check

A marketing piece or press release has already been translated and just needs a final read before it goes public.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need the original source text, or just my translation?

Both, ideally — send the source alongside your draft so we can check for meaning as well as language. If you only have the translated text, we can still do a monolingual edit for fluency and correctness.

What’s the difference between proofreading and editing?

Proofreading catches spelling, grammar and consistency errors. Editing goes further — improving flow, tone and clarity while keeping your meaning intact. Tell us which you need, or ask for both.

Is this cheaper than a fresh translation?

Yes — roughly half the per-page price of a new translation, because you’re paying for a qualified check, not a full retranslation.

Can this be the final step after a service from elsewhere on this site?

Yes — that’s exactly what it’s for. Order it after any of our other seven services, or after a translation from anywhere else.

Get a second pair of eyes before you publish.

Half the cost of a fresh translation — send us your draft and we’ll tell you what needs a closer look.
