Frequently asked questions
How far in advance do I need to book?
As early as you can — ideally at least 3–5 business days ahead, longer for simultaneous work, which needs interpreter availability and, often, equipment.
Why does simultaneous need two interpreters?
Simultaneous interpreting is mentally demanding; for sessions over 45 minutes, two interpreters alternate every 20–30 minutes to keep quality high. The quantity on this item is the number of interpreters, not the number of hours.
Can you interpret remotely?
Yes — both consecutive and simultaneous are available on-site in Madrid or remote by video call.
What if the meeting runs over?
Let us know as early as possible; extra time is billed by the hour at the same rate where the interpreter is available to continue.
